The MTB races took place in St. Catherines in hot and humid weather, with temperatures in the upper twenties. Congratulations to Eryn Guenter (age 18) and Aimee Gauthier (age 15) who competed against a strong field of female riders and a challenging course.

Following the women’s race, our Manitoba men took their turn at the 21km XC race this afternoon. There were many DNFs and plenty of dump bottles. Manitoba’s best were there to show they could challenge and compete against the top riders in Canada.

The Cross country events that took place today will be followed by the team relay on Wednesday and the sprint on Friday.
