Devo ONE

Devo ONE  is a program designed to develop the cycling skills, fitness and confidence of athletes who are between the ages of 12 and 14 years old on both mountain bike and road bike. The program will cater towards athletes who have outgrown Kids of Mud (KOM) but are not quite ready physically, mentally or, perhaps, emotionally for the Provincial Program’s “Development” stage of the Provincial Program.

To be eligible for selection, the athlete must be:

  • At least 12 years of age as of January 1st of race calendar year.
  • Must be Canadian Citizens, or eligible for Canadian Citizenship and actively pursuing either Citizenship Certificates or Canadian Passports
  • Must be members in good standing with the Organization (Hold a valid annual race license)
  • Agree to adhere to the Organization’s policies
  • There is no formal try-out to get into the Devo One program, however the program does require a commitment to training and an appetite to learn and race.
  • Number of athletes in the program will be contingent on coach availability (10:1 ratio).
  • We encourage participants to race in all race disciplines (MTB, Road, CX).
  • A Mountain bike and helmet is the only equipment requirement for the program.
