Club Development

Application: MCA Club Development Grant

The purpose of MCA’s club development grant is to provide financial support to MCA affiliated clubs and programs for the development, improvement, accessibility, inclusion, participation, and promotion of the sport of cycling in Manitoba.

  1. Promote Participation: Encourage more people, especially youth, to participate in sports and physical activities by enhancing the quality of programs, activities, and events offered/hosted by clubs.
  2. Support Growth: Assist clubs in expanding their offerings, reaching out to new members, and diversifying their activities to cater to a broader range of interests and demographics. Encourage new club development across Manitoba.
  3. Support Technical Development: Support the development of coaches, instructors, coach educators, officials, event organizers, timekeepers, and volunteers at the club level.
  4.  Facilitate Sustainability: Help clubs become financially sustainable by investing in equipment purchases, and capacity building initiatives.
  5. Enhance Community Impact: Strengthen the role of sport clubs as community hubs by improving accessibility, inclusivity, and the overall experience for participants (athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, and volunteers).
  6. Foster Excellence: Support clubs in developing talent: coaching expertise, club officials to support events, and competitive programs to excel at local, regional, national, and even international levels.

Application: MBLL 18+ Event, Program or League Sponsorship

With the rise in costs and decrease in volunteerism, PSO-hosted or organized events (or PSO members), programs, and leagues need sponsorship support to continue to operate.

With additional funding from MBLL, SMB will be able to support PSOs and their members in their hosted or organized events, programs, and leagues targeting adults.

Please be aware that if your application is approved, MBLL recognition should match any other sponsors that are providing a similar level of support to your event/program/league

You can review all the criteria in the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Program Manual.

Application: MBLL Rural Sport Development

Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries and Sport Manitoba are partnering for sport development in rural communities. PSOs and their members will be able to apply and submit their development project (athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers).

Please review all the criteria in the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Grant Program Manual.
