Phase 3 – June 21 (tentative)
Manitoba’s provincial government has announced a draft for Phase 3 of the reopening plan, tentatively set for implementation on June 21, 2020. The draft includes an increase of up to 50 people for indoor gatherings and up to 100 people for outdoor gatherings. The 2 metre separation requirement, except for brief exchanges is still in effect. This is a positive next step for the MCA as this moves us closer to sanctioning more activity within the cycling community.
MCA Sanctioned Race calendar
As per previous communications, June events have been postponed with the exception of the solo cycling challenge. We are working on race protocols for Time Trials in July. Stay tuned for more details at mbcycling.ca
Club rides and recreational activities
Clubs have resumed sanctioned club rides. Two metre physical distancing and outdoor group sizes (currently 50 people maximum) remain.
