Calling all Certified Community Coaches!
Are you interested in training to become a Coach Learning Facilitator?
What is a Learning Facilitator?
A Learning facilitator is a Coach Developer who has the appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes to facilitate learning sessions that produce skilled and knowledgeable cycling coaches.
NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) Learning Facilitators ensure the coaches they train can be certified on their ability to create safe environments for happy participants. NCCP Learning Facilitators also contribute to the sport community as ambassadors for the NCCP.
Benefits:
- Earn $200 – $300 per training session offered
- Provide training on your own schedule.
- Provide online and/or in-person training.
For Manitoba Cycling, LF’s are typically needed to deliver in-person Basic Bike Skills training for community coaches 1-3 times per year in the spring. If interested LF’s can also delivery online training to coaches in training across Canada thru Cycling Canada’s Educational portal, and/or perhaps expand their training to become a Master Learning Facilitator and train other LF’s in the province.
First Step to Becoming a Learning Facilitator:
