On behalf of the MCA, I would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Jim O’Brien and his daughter Kathleen for the loss of their wife and mother, Joyce O’Brien.

Joyce & Jim O’Brien were recipients of the MCA lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 in part for their development of the National cycling series in Manitoba – “The Cobblestone Classic“. Joyce spent years dedicating her time to officiating, race organizing, and supporting athlete development for cycling and cyclists in Manitoba which she said was one of the greatest enjoyments in her life.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street in Winnipeg.
