Reminder to ALL CLUBS:
ALL coaches, coaching for a club or program are required to meet the coaching standards as per the Coaching Standards Policy. Read more (Here).
IMMEDIATE PRIORITIES:
- The key contact from each club needs to forward a list of all their coach names to Mary Prendergast at mca.assistantcoach@gmail.com
- Each Coach must forward their completed paperwork to the key contact from each club who will submit all the club’s paperwork to the MCA office.
SUMMARY OF COACH PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS:
- ANNUALLY: Complete a “Child abuse registery form”. Fill out the volunteer paperwork form, sign it, and provide picture I.D. MCA will cover payment. Forms can be obtained from your club contact, Mary at MCA, or the MCA office at 204-925-5686
- EVERY THREE (3) YEARS: Complete a “Criminal record check” through “Fast check“, or your local police force.
- VERY FIVE (5) YEARS: Complete the “Respect in Sport Module” through “The Locker”. If you do not have a log in for “The Locker” please contact Mary at mca.assistantcoach@gmail.com
