FortWhyte Alive has contracted Native Plant Solutions to conduct a controlled burn on FortWhyte Alive’s north prairie this spring. The controlled burn should only take one day, and depending on various weather conditions, will take place sometime during the weeks of June 3 or June 10th. The burn will take place during daylight hours Monday to Friday. 

Trail access to FortWhyte Alive will not be permitted from the north at Sterling Lyon or Bison Butte.
