Why keeping your distance during activities is important

While walking, biking and jogging are welcome activities for many people in these times of COVID-19, it is important to note that you need to avoid each other’s slipstream when doing these activities.

A belguim-Dutch study recommends at least 10 meters distance when slow biking and at least 20 meters for hard biking. When passing someone it is advised to already be in different lane at a considerable distance e.g. 20 meters for biking.
