This evening, Wednesday June 27, a mid-90s Volvo, silver, with a big guy in it pulled up beside two riders who were westbound, just past the Perimeter, on the shoulder and riding side by side. The man yelled to ride in single file, then stopped his car just ahead of the 2 riders, then tried to `door` the riders as they went around the car. When the riders stopped, the man physically pushed one off his bike and into the ditch and a fist fight resulted. The driver fled as other cars and witnesses gathered. RCMP have been notified.
