The Crow Wing Trail Association cordially invites you to a free trail building workshop on how to build sustainable trails, maintain and restore existing trails, and solve trail management challenges. This is done via a classroom session and hands-on trail work where you will learn to build natural-surface trails sustainably!
Date: Saturday, June 18th
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Lunch is provided)
Location: Providence College – Reimer Student Life Centre
Healthy activity through the use of trails is becoming more and more popular. More and better trails are being sought in urban and rural locations. Land managers, municipal officials, eco-tourism businesses, trail users (hikers, trail runners, equestrians, bikers, etc.) and volunteers looking for sustainable trail designs and construction tips will benefit from this workshop.
Directed by International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Canada, in partnership with Parks Canada and the Trans Canada Trail, the Trail Care Crew program includes a full-time, professional team of trail experts who travel across Canada in a Subaru Outback.
