The Bison Butte (mashkode-bizhiki) trails are located between Cabella/Ikea and FortWhyte Alive.

Mashkode-bizhiki is Bison Butte’s official indigenous name!

• Mashkode – prairie, grassland, or open plain
• Nizhiki – buffalo

The 6km of trails are open to the public and maintained by volunteers and thru grants obtained by Manitoba Cycling for approved work at the site.
