Run the World – Cycling Day Camp for Girls
hosted by the Velodonnas Cycling Club
WHAT:
Mountain Bike Skills Camp in conjunction with Core Coaching (Velodonna club member Meghan Rafferty). The is the second BIKE EDITION of Run the World. Velodonnas have a fun filled day planned full of mountain bike riding, yoga/pilates, making friends, and talking about building confidence!

Birds Hill Park/Bur Oak Parking lot/Oak Ridge trails
WHO:
Girls ages 8-12 years old
This day is designed for girls with some ability to ride your bike on non-paved trails. We will work on specific skills but some experience riding off-road is beneficial. Ideally with less than 4 years of Kids of Mud mountain bike program experience
WHY:
“Run the World” was created to provide an answer to two things that young girls need—a healthy sport involvement AND support in developing a healthy self esteem. The Velodonnas Cycling club wants to help girls so they grow up to have a healthy image of themselves and have loads of confidence.

The day camp will be limited to 30 girls.

Velodonnas is a Winnipeg Manitoba Female Cycling Club, as well as the largest member club (affiliated with Manitoba Cycling) in Manitoba!
