How 2015 Seeding was Determined

The seeding for 2015 was done by adding up racers points from the following 2014 results: Darkcross, EgoCross, PLP, MennoCross, DeadHorse Cross, Crosstastic, and Southern Cross.

This does not include Provincials, Nationals or any other race.

If you moved up a category last year and accumulated points in that category, they were taken into account for 2014 results. If you did not accumulate any points in the category, you will not be shown on the seeding list below, but will be as soon as you earn points in the 2015 season.

If you are not listed at all below, it is either because you moved to a new category and haven’t accumulated any points in it yet, or you did not register any results in any of the races last year that would earn you points.

I.E. John Doe is a B Racer, and has been for years. However, last year he did not race and therefore did not earn points for seeding. John will still be a B racer and is on my list as a B racer, he just isn’t seeded due to accumulating no points.

Racers Moving Up:

Up to A: Matt Blenkinsopp, Scott English, Marshall Nardella, Chris Graham, Darren Cote, Carson Thompson, Anna Schappert
Up to B: Luke Broland, Damian Tryon, Ness Dalling, Jared Giesbrecht, Evan Giesbrecht, George Kroupa, Matt Boyle, Travis Malcolm, Justin Rempel, Rod Colwell (some of these occured at the latter part of the 2014 season)

If you wish to move down a category, please send Terry an email with the reason(s) why.

Seeding procedure for 2015

The committee agreed only the top 16 (2 rows of 8) male riders in the A, B, and C races would be called up, followed by a row of the top 8 female riders in the third row. All other riders will be scramble. This is being done to speed up the start of the races for the organizer and the commissaires.
