Bike Winnipeg will once again be offering half day cycling skills courses through the City of Winnipeg’s Leisure Guide this spring. Each cycling skills course combines classroom presentations with practical on-road advice and mentoring to build critical cycling skills and confidence that will help make your daily commute safer and more enjoyable. All courses are taught by certified CAN-Bike instructors with a maximum 6:1 student/teacher ratio.
Do you want to ride your bike more often but just don’t feel safe? Do you want to teach your kids how to cycle safely? Can-Bike certified instructors from Bike Winnipeg will help you build both the knowledge and confidence to start riding on the streets and trails in Winnipeg. The course is endorsed by the Manitoba Cycling Association and each participant will receive a copy of the Winnipeg Cycling Map.
City Cycling for Beginners (Leisure Guide Course Number 453582) is directed at cyclists who are comfortable riding on trails, but are reluctant to ride on roadways. The course will be run on Saturday May 3rd at the Fort Rouge Leisure Centre.
