2021 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships

Attention all Manitoba Cycling members attending the 2021 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in Istocno Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

You must obtain a permission letter prior to registering for this event. Inorder to obtain a permission letter, the following is required:

  • A 2021 UCI race license thru Manitoba Cycling.  A copy of your membership (front & back) is required. Register online here: https://ccnbikes.com/#!/memberships/manitoba-cycling-association-2021-annual-license-membership. 
  • A signed COVID-19 out of country acknowledgment of consent
  • The following information:
    • Duration of stay (date specific)
    • List of specific countries and competition dates (if possible)
    • The name of any foreign club or team the rider intends to join
  • The above can be submitted to the MCA Executive Director at cycling.ed@sportmanitoba.ca

General Information:

If you participated in the September 2019 RBC GranFondo Whistler (part of the 2020 UCI Gran Fondo World Series) this was an  official qualifier event for the 2021 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. If you finished within the top 25% of your age group, you qualify for the 2021 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships which will be held in Istocno Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) from 6 to 10 October 2021.  You will receive an invitation direct from UCI to attend.
