The Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games is a great athlete introduction to the multisport environment. A goal of the Manitoba Cycling Association (MCA) is to use the Manitoba Games as a progression from our grassroots skill development program, Kids of Mud, to identify and develop Manitoba athletes for future inter-provincial events and our Provincial Team program.
The 2016 Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games will run August 7 – 13, 2016 in the city of Steinbach. MB
The following races will be qualifier events for the Summer Games:
- MTB Cup #1: May 1st – Brandon
- MTB Cup #2: May 15th – Grand Beach
- MTB Cup #3: May 29 – Sandilands
All athletes in the U13 & U15 categories are eligible to try-out for their Regional Team. Team selection will be based on the best 2 of 3 qualifier race results. Athletes do NOT need to race all 3 qualifiers but must race at least 1 qualifier to be considered for selection. Some exceptions may apply.
