The 2010 mountain bike provincials were held on Sunday, August 29th with 90 racers lining up at the start. The race was delayed for 30 minutes due to a torrential downpour around 9:00, but the Grand Beach course, with its sandy soil, soaked up all the water and was puddle free by the time the race started. The course was fast, flowing, with a couple of technical sections and non-stop climbing.
Thanks to Parks Manitoba and the staff and conservation officers at Grand Beach for their support and use of the park. (more below)
