Kids of Mud (KOM) is Manitoba’s official youth cycling program, introducing kids aged 5 to 16 to the exciting world of off-road cycling. Through a structured and progressive approach, riders develop essential bike handling skills, build confidence, and experience the thrill of riding trails in a safe and supportive environment. KOM is a great way for young cyclists to improve their abilities, make new friends, and even challenge themselves in races.
Kids of Mud is a low-barrier program, meaning you don’t need fancy gear to join the fun! With just a few key pieces of equipment, young riders can hit the trails, build their skills, and have a blast on two wheels.
