DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n\n\n  \nWelcome to the biggest celebration of bikes Manitoba has ever seen!\nJoin us in the Pauline Boutal Theatre at Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain (340 Provencher Blvd) on Thursday\, November 16\, 2023 for an evening to celebrate community\, athletic achievement and our love of life on wheels. \nThe Gallery\, Pauline Boutal Theatre and cash bar open at 6:00 pm. Our pre-show kicks off at 6:30 pm in the theatre and the event officially begins at 7:00 pm. \nYour ticket includes admission to The Big Bike Film Night\, a thoughtfully curated collection of cycling films which offer representation and celebration of all abilities and all disciplines\, from across the world. We will also be serving complimentary refreshments (FRESH POPCORN) at intermission\, giving away amazing door prizes from our fantastic local supporters\, celebrating the athletic achievements of our Manitoba riders with emcee Steven Scoles\, and a cash bar will be open from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The film festival content has been given a rating of PG for some mature themes. \nAll profits made from this event will be donated to the betterment of our beloved Bison Butte. \nOnline tickets are available at a discounted rate from Sunday\, October 1 to Sunday\, November 12. \nTickets will be available at the door on event night while quantities last: \n\nAdult Admission $20\nYouth (8-18 years) Admission $15\nYouth (1-7 years) Admission $0\n\nThis event is limited to 285 people.

Access off McCreary road (gates will open at 445pm). Please drive in slowly in respect for the residents (and the bison!)  Google Map\nIf biking or walking access off the Trans Canada trail or FortWhyte Alive\n\nArrival: \n\nRegister at the MCA tent to sign a waiver (if you did not pre-register)\nGo to sea can to be assigned tool(s) and maintenance assignment/location by a MCA representative.\nDepending on volunteer numbers we will deploy small groups to work together on different sections of the hill.\n\nDuties include: \n\nGarbage Pick-Up\nDebris Removal (or tagging for future removal)\nTrail Racking and Packing (racking out ruts and smoothing the trail)\nWhipper sniping\nSign-in/sign-out volunteer desk\n\nGate volunteer\n\n\n\nDeparture: \n\nWhen you are finished please return tools and sign-out at registration desk.\n\nAre you unfamiliar with trail maintenance? \nDon’t worry\, we will have experienced individuals available to offer guidance \nIf you have additional questions please contact the MCA office at 204-925-5686 (Mon-Fri 0900-1700).  \nABOUT: The Bison Butte trails are located between Cabella/Ikea and FortWhyte Alive. The 6km of trails are open to the public and maintained by volunteers and thru grants obtained by Manitoba Cycling for approved work at the site.
