The race sign-in and starting location is at the Selo Ukrainian Heritage Site\, not at the Northgate trailhead.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDirections: To get to the race sign-in and starting location\, go to the Selo Ukrainian Heritage Site. The site is located approximately 11 km south of Dauphin\, or 5 km south of the Hwy 5/Hwy 10 intersection\, and 1 km west of Hwy 10 before climbing the escarpment hill. DESCRIPTION:On April 29\, we will be hosting Try Road Racing at Birds Hill Provincial Park at 9:00 am. You will ride a lap of the course that will be used for the road races that begin later the same morning. The session is free for all MCA general members to attend and participants are encouraged to stick around after to watch what a road race looks like! All you need to bring is yourself\, a helmet\, a bike\, a water bottle and an open mind to trying something new. Please wear athletic clothing or cycling clothing and close-toed athletic shoes (i.e. running shoes) for riding. It may still be chilly so please wear long sleeve or sweater and athletic pants if it is cold. Thinner gloves can be important as well for a comfortable experience. If you have cycling shoes and pedals you are welcome to bring them. \nRace Day Sign-In takes place at the East Beach Parking Lot. Sign-in begins at 9:00 am. Please arrive early to ensure you are ready to roll out at 9:30 am sharp.
