NEW for the 2016 race season, the MCA Manitoba Citizen license will be offered to members who will be racing in Manitoba only at MCA Sanctioned events.

This license type allows riders to become more active in the racing scene beyond  club ride activities.  The Citizen License is purchased by riders who wish to compete in Manitoba events in Road, MTB and Cyclo-Cross, including Provincial Championships.  If racing in a National, Canada Cup or World Cup event held within the Province a UCI license will be required.

Citizen license holders may only compete in entry level categories regardless of age or ability.  They can collect upgrade points but are only able to use them if they take out a CCA/UCI license.   Riders who have previously held a UCI license are only able to be issued this license if they are in the lowest category of each discipline. CGL & AD&D insurance is included in this license type for all MCA sanctioned cycling activities.

• All license types expire on December 31.
