Cycling Canada is calling out for new Zwift Leaders for our next available window of January 18th to February 23rd. If you have questions about ride leading duties and what it might entail, check out our Ride Leader Resource Guide here.

Please feel free to circulate this email or the information within it as you see fit! We’d love to interact with even more experienced ride leaders and continue to build the esports community across the country. Our ride leaders to-date have been amazing assets to this initiative and we cannot thank them enough. (Note from the MCA: Our very own Karin McSherry has been a ride leader for some of the women’s rides! Thank you Karin for being such an awesome Ambassador!)

Some interesting stats regarding our Zwift initiatives to-date:

  • As of today, total participation is at 4,250 in only 7 weeks of operation
  • Our largest group ride to-date was this week with a total of 340 participants on our “Virtual Legends Ride”
  • Our largest race to-date had 289 participants 1 week before Esports World Championships

Thanks again all! IF you have any questions about these initiatives, don’t hesitate to reach out anytime.

Happy Holidays!
