Location: Assiniboine Park – Formal Garden loop in the southeast corner of Assiniboine Park.

Times:

  • Registration: 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.
  • Cat 5 call up starts at 6:30 p.m.
  • Cat 4 call up starts at 6:50 p.m., race starts at 7:00 p.m.
  • Cat 3,2,1 call up starts at 7:40 p.m., race starts at 7:50 p.m.
  • Stage race awards following the completion of the cat 3 race
  • Race Length:

    • Cat 5 – 15 laps
    • Cat 4 – 25 laps
    • Cat 3,2,1, – 35 laps

    Registration: Registration opens at 5:30 and ends 30 minutes before your event. You must hold a UCI/CCA racing licence or a MCA citizen licence. Registration and waiver forms are available here and at the race site. Please download the form and waiver, fill out and bring the completed form and waiver to the race.

    Cost:

    • $10 for pre-registration before 8:00 p.m. on May 10, $15 the day of the race for those holding a UCI/CCA/MCA license.
    • Make cheques out to the Woodcock Cycle

    Amenities: Parking available at the race site.  Washrooms available at the pavilion.

    Race Course: Formal Gardens Loop in Southeast corner of Assiniboine Park. The course is flat with 2 tight corners and 1 sweeping corner. The northern portion of course is open to one-way traffic but controlled by marshals.

    Race Regulations

    Riders are required to wear a hard-shell ANSI or SNELL approved helmet while racing, warming up, and cooling down.

    Parking:
    Parking is available at the race site.

    Courtesy and Safety:
    The course is open and the public can access the course at any point. Signs will indicate that bike race is in progress , but marshals do not have authority to prevent people from entering the course. Keep your head up at all times. Be courteous to all vehicles and pedestrians.
