Best wishes to our members and their families this Good Friday.
The Manitoba Cycling Association is continuing to review May events on a case-by-case basis. With that said, we are asking all organizers of events to be held in May who wish to postpone their date, to please submit two preferred postponement date options to one of the following MCA representatives:
- Mountain Bike: JP Peters email@example.com
- Road Cycling: Don Rose firstname.lastname@example.org
- MCA office: Twila Cruickshank email@example.com
Event updates will be posted as confirmed here: http://mbcycling.ca/events/
We will make every best effort to accommodate your requests. We will continue to advise and direct all events moving forward with a continued abundance of caution.
While it is disappointing that our April activities have been postponed or cancelled, our number one priority is the health and well-being of our members and the community at large. The MCA continues to seek the advice of Cycling Canada and our Canadian Health Officials.
We recommend that all clubs, athletes and members postpone or cancel any gatherings such as group rides and in-person group meetings for the immediate future. The Manitoba Cycling Association cannot approve or endorse group activity until further notice.
We will continue to track the latest developments and meet with our partners to assess the situation and its impacts, and will continue to provide updates to our stakeholder and members in a timely manner.
