The Winnipeg Region Games Committee invites you to consider becoming a member of our Team Winnipeg Mission Staff for the upcoming 2012 Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games in Swan Valley. This is approximately a 6 month volunteer position starting as soon as possible until the completion of the provincial games in Swan Valley from July 15th – 21st, 2012.
Mission Staff become the heart of Team Winnipeg by demonstrating regional team spirit and sportsmanship; encouraging everyone to enjoy their Games experience and to have fun! They help to ensure the successful preparation, staging and operation of Team Winnipeg. Collectively, Mission Staff serve as the administrative and management body for Team Winnipeg at the Provincial Finals. Mission Staff can volunteer for one or both phases during the Games.
The following is the list of the sports that will compete in the 2012 Power Smart Manitoba Summer Games:
Phase 1: July 15-18 will consist of the following sports:
- Baseball
- Basketball (Female)
- Sailing
- Soccer (Male and Female)
- Swimming
Phase 2: July 18-21 will consist of the following sports:
- Athletics
- Basketball (Male)
- Cycling
- Golf
- Softball (Female)
- Triathlon
