Sport Surveys

Sport Manitoba has been made aware of two surveys we’d like to share with our Sport Partners.

The first survey from Sport for Life looks at the impact of COVID-19 on local sport organizations and is based on Sport Calgary’s recent work which identified the COVID-19 impact to local sports organizations and clubs in Calgary.

The results of the survey will be shared with federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments as a catalyst for action to support local sport organizations.

Please complete this survey by June 5, 2020 and share it with any other sports organizations in your network.

The second survey is about measuring your sport’s culture called What Not to Yell. The survey asks what values you believe are important in sport moving forward, and what behaviours you’d like to see more or less of.

REGISTER FOR PICK-UPFacility RemindersPlease remember that we must continue to follow the precautions put forth by the Province of Manitoba, both inside and outside of the facility.

This means staying at home if you feel ill or exhibit any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, following social distancing measures (two metres or six feet apart, which means a maximum of two people per elevator in Sport Manitoba), covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, coughing or sneezing into your sleeve, and washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 15 seconds, and utilizing technology to avoid face-to-face meetings. You can find more information on prevention here.

Note: control of digital thermostats in facility offices are at your control. These digital thermostats only control the baseboard heaters in the offices and there is no need for Sport Manitoba to control them. The white Trane thermostats in facility offices control the heat pumps. Our Building Engineer, Richard, will remain in control of these thermostats as the changes may affect other offices.
